Town of Palm Beach Joins the Mobility Coalition

Town of Palm Beach Council Members

The West Palm Beach Mobility Coalition (WPBgo for short) is a rare type of entity: a public-private partnership forged to collectively tackle transportation challenges, maintain a strong economy and a high quality of life.

The concept is unique, but appealing. No single company or government entity can singularity eliminate congestion or build alternatives to it. WPBgo is founded on the belief that more progress can happen when employers and government partners work together.

This concept has gained strong support. In our founding year, such community minded private sector partners as Related Companies, Chamber of the Palm Beaches, Nora Development and One Parking have stepped up to participate in efforts to lead changes away from non-strop congestion. They joined in collaboration with the City of West Palm Beach, the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency and Palm Tran.

Following Town Council approval on December 12, the Town of Palm Beach will join the collaboration in 2024, recognizing our traffic challenges know no boundaries, and strong traffic solutions involve working together.
