Keeping Downtown WPB Accessible as the City Grows
Traffic demand in Downtown West Palm Beach has increased steadily over the past five years, averaging a 1.7% growth. In the most recent year alone, growth climbed to 5.8%, signaling a sharp acceleration and placing added strain on limited roadway capacity.
2025 Highlights
- Nearly 1,000 downtown employees received hands-on education and benefit support.
- 60 e-bike vouchers improved affordability and access to downtown jobs and housing.
- Orientation and commuter events reached about 1,000 Palm Beach Atlantic students.
- Coalition coordination aligned programs with citywide mobility priorities.
