WPBgo, in partnership with the Westgate CRA is holding an e-bike voucher program that’s making e-bike ownership more accessible and affordable for people who live in the Westgate CRA boundaries.

The WPBgo E-Bike Voucher Program helps residents of Westgate lower commuting costs, reduce traffic, and ride in a cleaner, more affordable way. Vouchers are applied directly at checkout and come with a free helmet and bike lock.

Through random selection, we will select the awardees, after the application period closes.

If you live in the Westgate CRA boundaries, you’re eligible to apply. You must be 18 or older and must not have received a voucher from a WPBgo E-Bike Voucher Program before. You must provide proof of your Westgate address before receiving your voucher.

Simply fill out the online application available on our website during the application period. Make sure to complete all required fields to be eligible for the voucher lottery.

If you’re selected, we’ll request documents to verify your eligibility, such as proof of address and income (if income-qualified).

Vouchers can be only be used towards the purchase of a new e-bike. Used bikes and online purchases are not eligible.

Each voucher covers up to $1,000 toward a new e-bike, plus a free helmet and lock. If your chosen bike costs more than your voucher amount, you’ll need to pay the difference, sales tax, and any accessories.

After the application period closes, all applications will be entered into a drawing. If selected, you will be notified via email with further instructions on how to proceed.

iMPACT rEPORT - q3 2025

Demand: Round 1 had 75 applicants and 20 recipients. Round 2 has 550+ applicants and there will be 40 recipients. 

Who’s applying: Most report incomes under $50k; mix of employees (56%) and residents (44%) downtown.

How riders use e-bikes: Half ride daily, half weekly; biggest group rides 21–40 miles/week for commutes, errands, and exercise.
